The Toyota Land Cruiser returns to the U.S. market for 2024. Completely redesigned, it also marks a change from past models.

The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is slightly smaller than the prior model, which makes it easier to maneuver in tight trails.

All 2024 Land Cruisers are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain that makes 326 horsepower.

The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser has lockable center and rear differentials, and the First Edition adds an electronically disconnectable front anti-roll bar.

The base Land Cruiser and the First Edition get round headlights; the mid-spec version gets rectangular units.

We averaged 20 mpg versus an EPA combined estimate of 23 mpg.

The Land Cruiser has 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

Large side windows, narrow A-pillars, and Utah's natural beauty make for a panoramic vista.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard on the First Edition and the mid-spec trim.

The new Land Cruiser seats only five. The third-row seats are no more.

The cargo area's raised deck is necessary to make space for the hybrid system's battery.
