The top business stories of 2021

This year there were several contenders when it came to the biggest business stories of 2021. As economies around the world reopened, businesses faced a significant labour shortage and many companies struggled to hire and retain workers, stalling the economic recovery. Supply chain disruptions persisted through 2021, leading to a shortage of goods, congestions at ports and higher prices for many items. Inflation has also emerged as a top concern for Canadians, as the cost of many goods continues to rise at a rapid pace.

On this episode of Editor’s Edition, Alicja Siekierska and Mark Satov, the founder of Satov Consultants, discuss the top business issues of 2021. They also take a closer look at supply chain constraints, and what businesses should be doing when it comes to managing through the disruptions.
