Absentee ballot drop boxes in the presidential battleground state of Wisconsin are only available in a small fraction of the places they were four years ago, with many conservative communities opting not to offer them for the upcoming election. In 2020, more than 500 drop boxes were available for voters to return absentee ballots in more than 430 communities across the state.

TNT and its sports platforms to show new Unrivaled women's 3-on-3 basketball league games
The new Unrivaled women's basketball 3-on-3 league will have its games broadcast on TNT and its sports platforms. The league announced a multi-year partnership with the network to show more than 45 games from the inaugural season that begins in January. Matchups will be shown three nights a week with twice-weekly games on TNT on Mondays and Fridays.

Man charged in hit-and-run that injured 3 Philadelphia nurses surrenders
A man accused of driving into three nurses and injuring them as they tried to treat a gunshot victim outside a Philadelphia hospital last weekend has turned himself in, city police announced Wednesday. Authorities had identified Jaadir Goodwyn, 20, of Philadelphia, as a suspect on Tuesday. Police said Goodwyn was driving a silver Jeep Cherokee and dropped off the shooting victim in the ambulance bay at Penn Presbyterian Hospital about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Autodesk is helping solve infrastructure capacity issues: CEO
As AI seeps into all areas of the market, Autodesk (ADSK) CEO Andrew Anagnost joins Catalysts to discuss how the technology is changing the landscape for building out infrastructure. "One of the things that we're trying to do with AI is we're just trying to break through this capacity challenge that all of our customers have. There's not enough money, materials, or people to build and rebuild everything that needs to be built and rebuilt. In the US alone, half the roads are in disrepair," Anagnost tells Yahoo Finance. "Over the next 20 years, 250,000 bridges need to be repaired or replaced. So, what our customers need is simple, practical productivity increases that help them wrangle data and actually get their job done faster." He explains that capacity is the biggest challenge facing construction and manufacturing, as companies struggle in the hiring, planning, and budgeting processes: "It's also a communication challenge — wrangling data, getting the right data to the right place at the right time to the right people is a critical workflow for our customers, and they all struggle with it." In a similar type of use case, Kinetic Automation founder and CEO Nikhil Naikal spoke with Yahoo Finance earlier in the week about how the startup is utilizing AI and robotics to provide repair services for electric vehicles. With the 2024 presidential election less than three weeks away, Anagnost is not too concerned about how infrastructure plans may change: "It's a bipartisan issue. Everybody wants to fix the US Infrastructure. Everyone wants more competitive infrastructure in the country. So no matter who is in power, our customers are basically saying, 'Look, infrastructure is going to continue to be a big focus and a big investment area.' So it's not really a hot political issue." However, questions remain about the sustainability of these gains in the current bull market, which is entering its third year. Schwab Center for Financial Research fixed income strategist Collin Martin and IG North America CEO J.J. Kinahan joins Catalysts to share their market perspectives. Kinahan expresses optimism about the market's broad-based rally, viewing it as a positive indicator. "We're at a wall of worry. Nobody believes in the rally," he says, suggesting this skepticism could fuel further gains. However, he highlights some sector-specific concerns, particularly in semiconductor stocks. Kinahan points to Intel (INTC) as "an outlier" among semiconductor names, noting the stock's difficulty maintaining momentum.
