Snake Catcher Removes Carpet Python From Queensland Girl's Bed

A snake catcher ensured a Queensland girl wouldn’t be having any unwelcome scares at bedtime when he removed a carpet python from behind her bed.

Stuart McKenzie from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 said he responded to a call on December 6 to remove a carpet python from a house in Buderim after it was spotted in a child’s room.

This footage shows McKenzie remove the snake from the girl’s bed after he found it behind some pillows.

“That’s crazy, if she had come in minutes later she wouldn’t have seen the snake go behind the bed and may have slept next to a carpet python all night,” McKenzie said on Facebook.
