Salesforce meeting, Nike earnings, pres. debate: What to watch

Salesforce (CRM) will hold its annual shareholders meeting on Thursday. The meeting's agenda includes electing new board members. Multiple earnings reports will be released for companies including Nike (NKE), McCormick (MKC), and Walgreens (WBA).

The US Department of Labor will issue initial jobless claims data for the week of June 22. Current estimates place the figure at 235,000 versus May's 238,000 claims. The first 2024 presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump will occur on CNN at 9 p.m. EST.

What to watch for Wednesday.

June 27 sales force has annual shareholder meeting, voting on executive plans and electing board members.

Investors are going to listen closely for clues from the company that slowing growth concerns and potential opportunities for A I will also be getting another batch of earnings tomorrow night.

Cormick Walgreens and P star will all be reporting nino results after the close, the company had a better than expected third quarter.

Analysts expecting those results to drive product innovation and boost sales.

We also have mccormick Ceo Brandon Foley on Yahoo Finance tomorrow at 4 p.m. Eastern and new data on initial jobless claims will be released as analysts predict a slight drop in the number of individuals who filed for unemployment insurance for the first time during the past week.

And finally, the first presidential debate is tomorrow and the future of us tax code will be a large focus with President Biden advocating for a higher corporate tax rate of 28%.
