Mahindra XUV 500 launched after facelift at Rs 11.21 lakh

The Mahindra and Mahindra on Tuesday unveiled an updated version of its sports utility vehicle XUV 500, with its price starting at 11.21 lakh rupees. It is one of the largest selling Sports Utility Vehicle in India, which was initially launched in 2011. Mahindra and Mahindra, the home-grown automaker, has sold over 1 lakh units of its famous SUV, the XUV 500, in less than three years of its launch in India. Vice President, Sales, Mahindra and Mahindra, Jyoti Malhotra put light on the changes brought to the model. Except for minor cosmetic and mechanical updates, the vehicle remains largely unchanged. However, with 31 new features on offer, the vehicle has certainly become a lot more feature-rich. Along with the introduction of the updated model, the company has also added a new top-of-the-line variant in the XUV500 line up - W10 - that is priced at 15.99 lakh rupees.
