S&P 500 and Nasdaq edge higher ahead of PCE data: Yahoo Finance

S&P 500 (^GSPC) and Nasdaq (^IXIC) futures edge higher after chipmaking giant Nvidia (NVDA) posted strong earnings last week, topping Wall Street expectations and giving the overall market a boost. GameStop (GME) shares pop on the company announcing it made $933 million on a stock sale following a resurgence of the meme stocks. As all eyes are on the Federal Reserve’s next interest rate move, Friday’s Personal Consumption Expenditures report is expected to give additional insight into the current state of inflation. Yahoo Finance trending tickers include Rolls-Royce holdings (RR.L), Super Micro Computer (SMCI), and Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY.L).
