Lightning Streaks Across Sky as Storm Hits Brisbane

Lightning streaked across the Brisbane sky in dramatic fashion amid severe thunderstorm warnings for the south-east Queensland region on December 4.

Footage by Alderley resident Ashleigh Brown shows the lightning illuminate the room she is sitting in.

“I was on the third level of my townhouse to get the best out of the view and I tried to get a good shot many times and kept missing it until that happened,” she told Storyful.

“Love how it went across the whole window – I was sitting in the right spot,” she said.
