Lightning Seen on Stormy Night in South Texas

The National Weather Service forecast a line of thunderstorms and rain showers across southern Texas on Tuesday, September 21.

This footage, recorded by Twitter user @brett_yokum, shows lightning flashing across the night sky in Victoria on Tuesday evening.

The service said on Twitter: “A line of showers and thunderstorms will move south over the Victoria Crossroads, and into the northern Coastal Plains and Coastal Bend through midnight, with isolated cells over the Brush Country.
