Hulu Is Thriving Thanks to Its Larger Content Library

Over 25 million people in the U.S. now subscribe to the streaming service Hulu. According to The Verge, this is an annual jump of around 50 percent. Hulu says the growth is largely thanks to older hit shows, such as 'ER' and '30 Rock.' Hulu stated that people spent 20 percent more time using the service in 2018. For 2019, Hulu plans to build on original content and grab the rights to more licensed shows. It's not yet known if it will go international like its rival, Netflix.
