Global bond market sees sell-off, GM tops Q3 earnings estimates: Yahoo Finance

US stocks (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) remain under pressure as Citi warned that exposure to the S&P 500 has hit levels that are historically followed by a 10% slide. This comes as the global bond market experiences a sell-off as traders rethink the Federal Reserve’s rate cut path ahead. After a slew of strong economic data, many investors believe the Federal Reserve may hold rates steady at its November meeting. Meanwhile, Wall Street is breathing a sigh of relief after General Motors (GM) posted its third quarter results. The automaker topped earnings and revenue expectations and raised its guidance for the third time this year. Yahoo Finance Trending tickers include Nvidia (NVDA), SAP (SAP), and Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE).
