Get the Facts: Public should not be charged for COVID-19 vaccine, Attorney General Bonta says

California Attorney General Rob Bonta spoke with KCRA 3 on Monday after issuing an alert advising that the public should not be charged for the COVID-19 vaccine. “One of the critical things we can do to continue to emerge and to fully emerge is to make sure we get as many vaccines in arms as possible. In order to do that, the vaccines need to be available and there needs to be as few obstacles between an individual getting a vaccine and the vaccine itself,” Bonta told KCRA 3. The alert went out after several allegations that providers have charged as much as $45 in out-of-pocket fees to receive the vaccine. See more in the video above.
