Video Transcript
JULIE HYMAN: Dunkin' Brands is going private in a transaction with Inspire, which owns things, what, like Jimmy Johns and Arby's and Buffalo Wild Wings, I believe. Brian Sozzi, you were watching that deal here this morning.
BRIAN SOZZI: Julie, I'm surprised to see this deal. It's a big deal. It's one of the biggest restaurant deals I've ever seen. And I think that Duncan team and Inspire team were very excited. I exchanged an email with Inspire Brands' Paul Brown yesterday. This is a big deal for him. And this guy is now turning into one of the major dealmakers on Wall Street within the restaurant sector.
I will add this. We had strong windstoppers out this morning. This company continues to put out results. I don't see anywhere else in retail sales up over 25%. I have no clue how someone has not bought Wing Stop yet. The stock is up 402% over the past five years, according Yahoo Finance Premium Data. Taste their wings. Buy the company.
