Time now for what to watch Wednesday, August 7th.

Starting off on the earnings front.

It's a big day for big media, Warner Brothers, Discovery and Disney on tap ahead of the open.

Disney will report fiscal third quarter results.

Analysts watching for sustained profitability in the streaming business and stabilizing parks demand WBD reports after the close company had come under pressure after losing out on NBA rights in the latest negotiations.

And now it's now of course, taking legal action and more corporate results on deck tomorrow including Novo Nordisk Lyft Shopify reporting among others, Lyft announcing results for the second quarter before the opening bell and Lyft's margin expansion could be limited by increased insurance costs for ride sharing.

That's according to analysts and this coming after rival Uber reported earnings earlier today, it did beat on the top and bottom line.
