Apple iPhone, Boeing share sale, VF Corp: 3 Stories In Focus
Apple (AAPL) has reportedly exported $6 billion worth of iPhones from India, according to Bloomberg, as the tech giant seeks to expand its presence in the country and wane its reliance on China.
Boeing (BA) has raised $21 billion in its expanded share sale. Originally, the aircraft manufacturer sought to make $19 billion through this sale in order to boost liquidity and avoid a credit rating downgrade.
Vans and North Face parent company VF Corporation (VFC) continues to see its stock price soar since reporting a fiscal second quarter earnings beat on Monday.

We're taking a closer look at some of the trending tickers this morning and we're doing it in 30 seconds a piece here.
Let's start with Apple right now.
We're taking a look at shares of a APL lower 3/10 of a percent.
The tech giants exported nearly $6 billion worth of India made iphones from March through September.
And this comes as Apple pushes to expand manufacturing in India and reduce its reliance on China.
Here.
It's been aggressively focused in on this region, of course, in recent years, bringing to the market its first retail footprint in that country and then also trying to make sure that they can move some of the customers perhaps uh grow out their install base as well there.
All right, let's let's take a look at Boeing another day.
Another headline coming for this company raising $21 billion in its share sale here.
It was an expanded public share sale.
They're doing this to avert a potential credit rating downgrade to junk or looking at likes here up just about 1%.
But let's talk about the significance of this, we know Boeing has been under a tremendous amount of pressure.
Obviously, a number of issues with their aircraft.
The latest big issue or challenge that they are facing is the labor strike that they are seeing from, from their machinist union.
That is now in its seventh week, it has really crippled the manufacturing of the jetliner.
So of course, going forward lots of questions about liquidity and this is going to give them a bit of a cushion.
Absolutely.
And lastly here, let's talk a little VF Corp VF corporation shares.
They are rallying the North face owner reporting better than expected second quarter earnings, hiking its guidance for its next quarter as well shares.
My goodness here, they're on the mountain top, they're up about 28% here on the day as we're taking a look at the shares.
And uh of course, this is as a lot of the analysts are trying to figure out all right looking out from here.
And this report specifically, I think U Bs saying that the results are getting less bad, so that's good.
And perhaps a turning of the page at least in the near term and, and getting back into some favorability with some of their brands, especially among those all important gen Z purchasers out there.
