Ace Sprinter’s Tokyo Games Dreams Come To An End

Ace sprinter Dutee Chand scripted history in 2019 at the World Universiade in Naples by becoming the first Indian to bag a gold in a 100m event globally. She has also been hailed for being the first openly gay athlete from India. Although in top form, Chand missed out on a spot in the semi-finals in Women’s 100m Heat 5, putting an end to her Tokyo Games dreams.
