They have been pushing advertisements out and building new locations so I think this could work

As I tried to eat a WEN tender this week I thought about the old commercials that had someone running a register that was way up high poking keys with her fingers talking about other brands tenders. "parts is parts" is what she said talking about the competition's nuggets at the time. Well, IMO parts is parts are now WEN's tenders too.

I only get them as I need a little food to take pills with and the 4.00 deals come with the nuggets which I give to someone in the dining room when I can.

This may go the whole way back to the "wheres the beef" days and when they used to say you need a napkin to wipe your face after every bite because they are so juicy.

Hey - are frosty cards national?

Hi All, I've never posted here before but I have a graduate assignment that requires me to analyze Wendy's performance for both the past 5 years and in comparison with other similar companies. I have a lot of the data but I'm new to this and was hoping for a place to start! Can anybody provide a brief summary of Wendy's strengths and weaknesses in the regard, or at least advise me on which ratios and information to specifically look over to make these decisions? Thank you!

I been informed that wendy's does not have part time workers. so, no unopen availability here like with mcd

I was going to buy but, it doesn't look like a high beta stock. I like their burgers and fries, though.

I remain convinced that the price will rebound later today once people actually read the report. Accordingly, I bought 2000 more shares at 20.80. The company is quite profitable and well positioned for the future with all the image enhanced restaurants in A locations. I wonder though if they should not buy more franchised restaurants where brand delivery levels are lower or facilities no longer meeting standards. Food remains terrific although getting rid of the Pretzel Burger line is a mistake in IMHO. It was a great differentiator. No one else other than Culvers had it.

exactly opposite of what small investors predicted. the hedge funds would have a great laugh and poor investors get frustrated and sell. just hold and ride it out. next week will be good
  • H
sell at $22+ buy at $21.. repeat !

I'm convinced there will be a rise back up by end of the day when people actually read the report. I just bought another 2,000 shares at this discounted value. The company is extremely profitable and well positioned for the future. Very good locations. I think they should buy back more restaurants though where Brand Delivery levels are lower. Still plenty of opportunity.
