Great fundamentals, BV is insane, seems to have great management with the turnaround with their new investments, low 90’s complete ratio. Big IRR over 20%. If it wasn’t for Invesque dropping so much BV would be over $12 a share! Obvious buy, but may takes years to get a good valuation and low volume is keeping buybacks down.
Volume has declined markedly since the astronomical increase on Tuesday. This stock is overinflated like a balloon- the silence is eerie. The avalanche will begin when investors realize it is better to take profits now, then buy back their shares at a much lower price.
Stock is lacking VOLUME due to market cap and company size, for this to explode on the upside it would require a big buy back from the company as it was the case from Dec 2018 - DEC 2019, if not unfortunately it will just stay flat, good business/company but unfortunately due to the market cap size it's value is not being recognized quickly by the market.
Earnings look good...book value up to $10.74...buying back shares...even a decent dividend...buy.
Volume continues relatively heavy...keeps poking at $7 resistance...if it clears that, hard to tell where it might stop.
I expect a profit this year of at about 65M * 7,5 = marketcap at about 500M / 32,5M stocks = price target 15 dollar. So nice opportunity to buy today stocks with discount.
I noticed that too. There’s no guarantee we know. It’s better when several insiders buy. It was decent to see Barnes pay over $6. I buy over time to dollar cost average. There’s some high end traders for companies that may give you more information @StocksInc just ask they will respond. I’m not endorsing the site (technically I am) but I had companies I was indecisive on and they helped a lot. One or more own great companies and enjoy helping new Traders as mentors to keep from getting burned. One that may have you answer is MichaelLamonthe. Hope this helps. I may buy before news.
With Warburg Incus paying 200M for 24% of Fortegra this gives a valuation of 833M for Fortegra. So new sum of the parts gives 783M / 32,7M stocks = 24 dollar per stock price target :-).
Strong support at $640...I expect earnings to look good so I will be buying at this point.
Made it through $6.75 with decent volume...volume continues to improve...taking out $7.00 doesn't appear to be much of a problem...if you believe in technical analysis, you have to delieve there'll be no significant resistance until $9.00 at least.
Amritrade shows over 400,000 shares traded and hit an intraday high of $6.90...looks positive to me.
Fortegra is clearly the best asset of this company, so I'm very curios what they will price the IPO at since most go very well right now at crazy prices since we are in a bubble. This could be a great move for TIPT, and not to mention the bulk ship investment looks very good now. This should be $20+ with enough attention and a successful IPO. Buying my position back happily for $3 more
This stock is unpolished gold.. will fly after more market exposure. Buy and Hold!!
Mordena Vs Vanilla Ice
I am done. Sold all my shares. Know when to fold.
Will this gap down to $11.50?
Off course with IPO of Fortegra price target will be a lot higher. Who knows in the near future?
Sum of the parts: Insurance 720M (60M * 12), Mortgage 125M (25M * 5), Capital 125M -/- 300M (30M * 10) corporate = 670M / 32,7 = 20,50 dollar price target.
Anyone have any insight into the company. The chairman seems to being buying constantly for the several months.
they should sell the whole co. for BV
So Fortegra is valued 833M and marketcap of Tiptree is 460M.
I see a lot of upside potential! :-)
Tiptree also don't need this 200M, so i expect a lot of share repurchases (or a special dividend).
