Description

Santierul Naval Constanta S.A. provides ship building and repairing services to ship owners and managers in Romania and internationally. The company builds ships for bulk carriers; chemical products tankers; container vessels; crude oil tankers; general cargo vessels; and special vessels, such as diving support vessels, fishing trawlers, LPG tankers, platform supply vessels, RO-RO ferries, RO-RO deep sea pontoons, tug boats, grab floating cranes, pipe layer shallow water barges, and offshore subsea construction vessels. It also undertakes repair works, including dry-dock works; surface treatment for cargo holds and cargo tanks; steelworks renewal; mechanical and electrical works; piping replacement and new piping system installation; and overhauling of various main and auxiliary engines, including parts reconditioning, as well as various types of turbo chargers. In addition, the company offers ship design and engineering services. The company was founded in 1892 and is based in Constanta, Romania.
