    S&P 500 Turns Positive, on Pace for Another Record

    Stocks rebounded a bit in Monday afternoon trading as the equal-weight S&P 500 ETF closed in on a milestone. The S&P 500 was up 0.2%, while the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF was up 0.5% to $164.66, on pace to top its record closing high of $164.20 set on Jan. 4, 2022.


    S&P 500 Turns Slightly Higher in Afternoon Trading

    The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.1%. “There's no economic news today but the rest of the week has plenty,” writes Navellier & Associates founder Louis Navellier. “Perhaps the most important event of the week is Jay Powell testifying on Wednesday on the economic outlook and recent monetary policy actions before the Joint Economic Committee in Washington DC.”
