The company is also involved in the fuel storage and transportation, quality control, fuel and lubricant retail trade, electricity distribution, drinking water supply, and wastewater treatment activities. It exports its products. The company was formerly known as Petromidia. Rompetrol Rafinare S.A. was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Navodari, Romania.
