The whole gaggle of Federal Reserve officials, including Chair Jerome Powell and Vice Chair for Supervision Michael Barr, will be releasing commentary next week following the central bank's move to cut interest rates by 50 basis points this past Wednesday. August's Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index — the Fed's preferred inflation gauge — is due out next Friday, September 27.
