The Model Y topped Cars.com’s American-Made Index for the third consecutive year. Tesla is the only company that assembles all the cars its sells in the American market in the U.S.
The latest data from S&P Mobility finds that EV inventory at the end of April climbed 5.7% compared to the prior month and up 105% compared to a year ago. This despite steep discounting for EVs through most of the year.
Though the Zacks Automotive- Retail and Wholesale- Parts industry is currently placed in the bottom 33% of around 250 Zacks industries, stocks like BYDDY and HMC are still worth buying.
