Q1 ,not thrilled with minimal operational loss with inc OE , but have to like: double digit rev increase on inc demand/connections & + pricing ;8.5% connection inc ; InLand Port D&E increasing;cash up to $18mm+ ;$10mm LOC avail & the promise of even more acquisitions this year. Rate case begins in August which if successful would phase in over 3 years increased rates beginning already in Jan 21. I'll say it again, a water/wastewater utility with growth stock characteristics that pays monthly. Stock remains easy LT hold and add on weakness candidate as their growth will seemingly catch up in time to any MC mark ups that extend beyond norm. Anyone else notice that some big owners of this must have requested options ? I believe GWRS option trade opens this week or next. Suggests to me a possible step up in institutional ownership ,liquidity.

First close above 200dma since early March. Chart repairing rapidly. Q2 CC sounds like a bolt-on acquisition is coming. Confirmed Nikola factory in their industrial service area, but more importantly are all the residential accts to be hooked up as employees of Nikola & other large industrial tenants . Building permits continue growing. Will also be interested to watch Bill Gates eventually build out his planned high tech city of Belmont AZ, also in this little water company's service area. Monthly dividend with one heckuva growth kicker. Small equity raises along way to finance acquisition strategy. Intriguing place to stash cash, maintain monthly cash flow & likely recognize LTCGs. Why isn't this #$%$ more radar screens? Guess illiquidity has its consequences & opportunities ;)

Rate case decision timing = Q2. $22m liquidity -cash + LOC. Intend to continue growth strategy via acquisition of strategic bolt ons adjacent to & within service area as regulatory environment remains favorable for rapid roll up , system upgrade ,implementation of TWS etc. Building permits continue to increase markedly w/i service area. As always, GWRS remains quite unique as an investment. Utility stability, sustainable monthly payouts and a growth(cap gain) kicker coupled with likely eventual premium acquisition as large water cos look to GWRS's high growth AZ region.

Pushed back guidance on rate increase decision timing to Q1. Means an increase, if approved, will be phased in later than the hoped for 1/1/22 date. Nice Q3 #s with incremental growth again in all metrics except for H2O usage which dipped because of the unusually heavy rains last Q. With $31mm of cash & LOC availability they continue to guide for more bolt-on acquisitions. Solid investment dynamics for continued long term ROI & monthly dividend income gains.
w
Nikola plant service win just announced with its ancillary boost to GWRS's residential service area. Plus we've had 3 bolt-on acquisitions in past 2 Qs with more to come. GWRS is rapidly consolidating the fragmented water/wastewater ute sector in the high growth Phoenix/Tucson corridor. GWRS is a growth company with utility stability & will soon be $20+. Hopefully we can collect monthly dividends for quite some time before they're acquired.
w
Volume flooding in on break above key $18 R area. AZ rate case must be going well. What a great performing stock over the past 18 months for us. CGs+monthly divvies =100% ROI from a utility, albeit one with a growth kicker as we've discussed. Really hoping we don't get acquired anytime soon...allow GWRS to continue it's bolt on acquisition strategy. Roll up all those independent water/wastewater businesses in the high growth Phoenix corridor, raise monthly dividend as connections grow & build a strong franchise in a water starved/rapidly growing area. $20+ pps imminent & deserved.
w
Two more bolt on acquisitions announced today. Regulators in AZ are facilitating the roll up/consolidation of the fragmented water/wastewater markets. GWRS is perfectly positioned to continue to grow connections via these acquisitions. Am still waiting for a FO offering to raise cash. Great job GWRS mgt on today's announcements.
J
So if you listen to the GWRS conference call, they mention that they own the water rights to provide service to Bill Gates' new city, Belmont, outside PHX. Can't name another public water utility with 80,000+ connection organic growth opportunity like that.
M
Nibble every month and reinvest the dividend unless the business changes
w
50% YoY permit growth in their service area. Seeing growth in residential & commercial customer base. A lot of bolt on opportunities. Expect more such acquisitions as streamlined AZ regulatory environment encourages consolidation of fragmented sector. Growth in all metrics. No hint of FO as they feel they have sufficient cash access. Should see $20s along with continued monthly dividends soon.
w
Dems will prioritize clean water, wastewater & related infrastructure investment . GWRS is beautifully positioned to benefit from these policies.

Good long term stock !

I bought this stock anyone here?

why the drop today. did we not get the approval on the rate increase
$22m liquidity -cash + LOC.
