Apollo, the big alternative asset management company and insurer, is now the largest U.S. company in terms of market value that isn’t in the index.
CrowdStrike, KKR and GoDaddy will join the index before the open on June 24, as part of the quarterly rebalance.
KKR, CrowdStrike, and GoDaddy will replace Robert Half Comerica and Illumina respectively. The changes will take effect before the start of trading on June 24, according to a news release from S&P Dow Jones Indices on Friday. On Monday, KKR stock was 12% higher, CrowdStrike rose 8.9%, and GoDaddy had gained 1.9%.
