Rick is the founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of STYLUS, responsible for investment decision making and strategic oversight of all the STYLUS funds as well as client service and marketing. Rick pioneered the practice of quantitative investment in 1976 as an analyst with CIBC and later with McLeod Young Weir after earning a Bachelor of Math degree from the University of Waterloo. In 1984, he founded CPMS and built it into the leading provider of quantitative investment research in Canada.
