Skippy, Apropos of nothing, did you know Poland did not exist from 1795 until 1918. It was partitioned among 3 countries. I learned that during the Cold War when the FBI came to my house to find out why I placed the birth of my mother in Poland when her birth certificate said Russia. (I was a security clearance application.) They knew of course, but I guess they were just checking me out.

Methinks something is in the works!

Reports from Central Asia say Kyrgyzstan's neighboring countries have either reduced or suspended the shipment of oil, gasoline, and other oil products to it.

As of late, the dollar has been relatively strong; but not today. Today, 10/14/21, it's taking a real dive. Lol.

    Skippy,

    See post below.

It's time for Centerra to dump the legacy TC moly assets, since prices are ripe and they've shown little inclination to running them.

Between the two mines (TC & Endako, and the LMC roaster) bet they can get $500mm.

Moly oxide is north of $18 lb. and ferro-moly is north of $21 lb.

These prices won't last forever, since new by-product is coming online in Chile and Peru in next two-three years (Quellaveco, QB2, Spence), that will offset shortfalls at Rio's Bingham Canyon being presently experienced now.

Scotty needs to pull the trigger on the deal, and sell it to the m*xic*ns (SCCO) who are fevered about growing their moly operations since they complete 24/7 for big d*x bragging rights with FCX on pretty much everything.

Arizona vs. Mexico thing I guess.......

Jeff Currie of Goldman Sachs issued a report today about commodities. He said commodities are under invested. According to him, oil and nat gas will remain strong for the foreseeable future. Copper wil also continue to move higher as well due to strong demand.

Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) announced that it is up for sale. Wow. Now KL is a fairly large gold miner with mines in Australia and Canada. Rumor has it that there are 4 companies interested in KL. It is also rumored that Barrick Gold will likely be the odds on favorite of acquiring KL. Now that is news.

Oil prices are continuing to climb. OK, maybe not today. But over the short term, oil is on an upward trajectory. Many oil analysts and other commentators are predicting that oil will soon reach $80. a barrel. Last week, Tom Lee, a noted market analyst, said oil could be at $100. per barrel in the near future. But yesterday, one market analyst said on CNBC that oil could reach $130. - $150. per barrel in the near future. So if that ever occurred, it would be a complete disaster on the Kyrgyzstan economy.

In an article in the publication, Eurasiabet, Chris Rickleton(?) wrote that high level talks took place between CG and the K-crooks in Geneva, Switzerland a few days ago concerning the Kumtor mine. While CG refused comment, Japanov(?) or his spokesperson acknowledged the existence of these talks.

With the possibility of rising interest rates and a higher dollar, Skippy still thinks gold will test the 1650-1675 level in the near future. Lol.

Last month, the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) removed Kyrgyzstan's gold refiner from its list of acceptable gold suppliers. Hmmm. That's not good. Lol.
