ALTEO Energy Services Public Limited Company generates and sells electricity and heat in Hungary. It also engages in retail trade of electricity and gas; energy production of renewable solar, wind, hydropower plants, as well as biogas; operates and maintains energy generating assets and construction-installation activities; and plans and manages production of electricity and heat generation and storage facilities. In addition, the company offers waste management services, collection, recovery, and sale of organic and inorganic waste; ancillary services; renewable production management; business and other consultancy activities; treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste; desalinated water production; and e-mobility services, as well as wholesale of waste and scrap and recycling service. The company was formerly known as ALTEO Energiaszolgaltato Nyilvanosan Mukodo Reszvenytarsasag and changed its name to ALTEO Energy Services Public Limited Company in June 2021.
