There we go as Advantage takes off for the July Earnings report. I bet the growth is at least 100% over last year. Pus Entropy's positives and starting point in greening (CO2 reduction) of the oil and gas sector.

Hang in there Advantage. Another good day to buy back more shares Blenekie.

Look at Gear Energy's monthly report to shareholders. You should be doing this for AAV shareholders.
  • p

Another larger 50M shares bought today in one lump. AAV maybe taking advantage (nice play on word) of the market downturn. Won't be at these levels for long long.

Blenekie, we need a CEO that can sell the positives of AAV. Get right on that and start planning the next ER.

Still waiting to hear from you Blenekie.

Blenekie, AAV is still undervalued at this share price. You need to be providing feedback on Advantage progress like Gear Energy reporting. This shows shareholders value (entropy, debt reduction, share buy backs) and that you care in the direction of the company. Shareholders now a days do not like CEO's sitting back and collecting their larger salaries and share options. AAV has barely mentioned Brookfield.

Advantage got a LOT of attention in the Brookfield Renewable quarter report a few days ago on May 6.

This is a lot of attention for a small part our tiny company!!!

....... We closed or agreed to invest over $1.6 billion (~$340 million net to Brookfield Renewable) of capital across multiple transaction and regions, including our first investment in carbon capture solutions.

    ..

We entered a new decarbonization asset class with our investment in a leading North American modular carbon capture solutions provider. Given the trillions of dollars required to decarbonize hard to abate industrial sectors over the coming decades, we see significant potential to grow our carbon capture footprint over time, and we believe we are well positioned to do so given our strong expertise in decarbonization and experience as an operating partner and capital provider to our global network of like-minded customers.

Our investment, through a convertible security, provides an attractive entry point into carbon capture solutions with a strong partner, a proven and cost-effective product and a sizeable development pipeline. We have committed funding of up to C$300 million for projects meeting pre-agreed return thresholds and have already begun funding the build-out of our first project. The structure of the investment provides strong downside protection, and the securities, which earn an annual coupon of 8%, are convertible into the common equity of the company at our option at any time. If 100% of our commitment is invested, which we expect given the escalating carbon price and proposed investment tax credit for carbon capture in Canada, upon conversion, we will own a majority of the common equity of the business.

Blenekie, where is the transparency and updates needed to keep shareholders informed. How is Entropy going? How is the plant operations? Many things to talk about. Come on Investor relations motivate Blenekie to engage.
  • p
    p
I agree the intrinsic value is around $14+ Cad. Especially with Entropy and its technology. Looking forward to up and coming ER's.

Okay someone just bought 65M shares, so if this is AAV (reducing the pool), the sp should be into the $12's by the end of this week. Look forward Blenekie, to the ER this summer. I still say you could be more transparent with AAV and sending out short progress reports. Have you heard of executive summaries?
  • p
    p
Blenekie, most stocks are going up slightly and AAV is trending down. Why? Either due to a lack of AAV buybacks promised but definitely a lack of communication with shareholders. Do you know what you are doing as the new CEO? I sure hope your investor relations group sees these many posts. You have many positives but poor marketing to the industry.

    p
Someone bought 584MM shares. Wonder if that was AAV? Gave us the share evaluation we need to increase share price. Blenekie still needs to talk up the story here with Entropy. Where are you Blenekie? This is your job as CEO.
  • p
    p
Okay 4.1 MM shares purchased in the 1st Q, according to the ER. Rising cash flow and Entropy positives going forward. I see this stock above $12 CAD by the end of the year. Cash flows to $140MM and they will pay off more debt. More share buy backs to come. Looking good Blenekie. Maybe a dividend might be in order.

Dare I repeat and repeat Blenekie.

Blenekie/investor relations; you folks need to come out with some update on Entropy. How is the current gas pricing affecting Advantage? We need a cheerleader at AAV to widen our investor group.
  • p
    p
AAV did get reviewed, but no mention of our actual company and Brookfield was embellishing on what a good deal it was to their shareholders. Blenekie you need to be cheerleading more on this $300MM investment deal to show everyone how it was a win/win for everyone. Good growth in AAV today. About time. We should hit $12 by summer if the volatility would just ease.

Better performance today with AAV sp value nearing our 52 week high. AAV has so many positives. I just wished Blenekie would get excited and provide shareholders with monthly updates or a progress report. Improve transparency is needed at AAV to build ongoing confidence, as well as highlight the company in the market place. Our share volume is low, which tells me not enough folks know our story out there.

Investor relations you should be putting our posted concerns on Blenekies desk. We continue to founder when we should be in the $11's CAD, based on current market conditions. Not enough investors know our story.
