MORNING BID AMERICAS-Markets juggle 5% yields and 150 yen

Partly unwinding pre-weekend safety hedges related to the Middle East conflict, world markets are back focused on some critical macro priced levels and milestones that may once again define the week. But in keeping with that retreat from havens, U.S. Treasuries and sovereign bonds everywhere resumed their decline and 10-year U.S. benchmark borrowing rates finally moved up through the 5% level for the first time in 16 years early on Monday. UPDATE 3-Foxconn to invest $194 mln in new plant in India's Tamil Nadu

Taiwan's Foxconn has signed a deal with Tamil Nadu to invest 16 billion rupees ($194 million) in a new electronic components manufacturing facility that will create 6,000 jobs, the government of the southern Indian state said on Monday. The Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII) facility will be built in the Kancheepuram district near the state capital of Chennai, a state government source said on condition of anonymity as details are not yet public. It will be separate from the sprawling campus near Chennai where Foxconn assembles Apple's iPhones, they added.

Foxconn unit in talks for $200 million components plant in India's Tamil Nadu -sources

CHENNAI, India (Reuters) -A Foxconn subsidiary is in talks with India's Tamil Nadu state to invest up to $200 million to build a new plant for electronic components in the southern region, two sources with direct knowledge told Reuters on Wednesday. Brand Cheng, CEO of Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII), and other company representatives last week met Tamil Nadu officials including its chief minister to discuss investments in the state, the government said in a statement after the meeting, without elaborating. FII, which makes communication, mobile network and cloud computing equipment, has shared a plan with state officials to initially invest $180 million to $200 million in the facility, said one of the sources.
