Business WireRedfin Reports The Typical U.S. Asking Rent Is Only $24 Below Its Record High
SEATTLE, July 12, 2023--(NASDAQ: RDFN) — The U.S. rental market has been slowing for more than a year, but the median asking rent is still only $24 below its record high. That’s according to a new report from Redfin (redfin.com), the technology-powered real estate brokerage. The median asking rent was $2,029 in June, little changed from $1,995 one month earlier, $2,019 one year earlier and a record high of $2,053 set in August 2022.
