The recognition keeps coming for the Nordic Nations.
In recent years, the countries that make up northern Europe have been praised for their generous social safety, but new rankings from Bloomberg have also placed Sweden, Finland and Denmark among the top 10 countries in the world based on the innovation of their economies.
The 2017 Bloomberg Innovation Index, which the rankings are based on, scores economies based on factors including research and development spending, the concentration of high-tech public companies, productivity and patent activity.
