An Ontario realtor recently scored an extra $30,000 for clients selling a home by suggesting they declutter and spend $1,650 on fresh paint, according to a news report.
These owners in Toronto went another direction. The listing for 65 Heaslip Terrace is right out of an episode of the A&E series Hoarders, complete with garbage, food items, and aging electronics.
The living room is covered in all manner of junk. The less said about the kitchen the better. (How do you even damage an oven door?) The backyard is large and private, but the pool is “not functional.”
Oh yes, and the property is located a stone's-throw away from Highway 401 in Toronto, the busiest stretch of freeway in North America.
The listing says it’s a “quick reno project.” The owners are asking $600,000.
