Starting and keeping a business in operation isn't easy.

But in some countries, it is easier than others.

In that light, the World Bank has released its annual rankings of how easy it is to do business in nations around the world.

The list takes into account difficulties such as: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency.
