Top 10 Overachieving CEOs

Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Larry Ellison of Oracle are among the top 10 Biggest CEO Overachievers — unlike Meg Whitman, who is number one on the Biggest CEO Underachievers list.

These 10 CEOs are ranked based on their company's stock performance compared to the S&P 500 during their tenure, according to data from Bloomberg.

Methodology: Companies were drawn from the S&P 100 as of April 30, 2013. Annualized total return for each CEO was calculated from the day the CEO started until April 30. For Jeff Bezos and Larry Ellison, CEOs who were already in office when the company went public, the day of the initial public offering was used as the starting date for the calculation.
