The 20 most dependable car brands on the road

Last week, Yahoo Canada Finance gave you a run-down of J.D. Power's new-vehicle quality list, which ranks 2016-model year cars based on problems experienced per 100 vehicles in their first 90 days.

This week, we take a look at the firm's annual Vehicle Dependibility Study, which gives a better sense of long-lasting dependibility on the road. This ranking, as J.D. Power explains it, "examines problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 2013 model-year vehicles."

This study, too, ranks vehicles by problems experienced per 100 vehicles.
