10 simple ways to extend your smartphone’s battery

If it’s true we’re looking at our smartphones about 150 times a day, perhaps it’s no surprise the battery conks out before we do.

In other words, the more we use – nay, rely – on these do-it-all devices for work and play, the more demanding it is on its small battery. No one wants to see that 10 per cent warning by lunchtime.

But there are a few things you can do to help squeeze more life out of your phone while on the go besides carrying around a backup battery charger, of course. Marc Saltzman
