Production Tesla Model X Caught In Spy Shots

After two years of delay, Tesla is preparing to finally launch the Model X SUV within a matter of months — retaining the upward-swinging "falcon doors" that made the concept Model X stunning, albeit one whose usability remains in question. Just like the Model S on which it's based, the Model X will come with a giant touchscreen command in the dash, and likely mimic the 65 and 85 kWh energy capacity of the sedan, along with offering all-wheel-drive via two electric motors. It's unclear whether the Model X will also offer the smaller rear-facing jump seats sold as an option on the Model S, making it a seven-passenger SUV.
