Love clowns? Check out this home for sale in Brantford, Ont.

Be warned: if clowns make you uncomfortable, this isn’t the gallery for you.

A home in Brantford, Ont. is getting some attention for its owner’s unique collection.

This quaint home on Chatham St. may only be 748 square feet, but the current owner, who has held the property for the past 30 years, has managed to find ample space for his or her extensive clown collection. The home is currently listed for $239,900.

UPDATE (05/09): VICE Canada spoke with the owners’ son, Michael McMannis, who says the clowns — all roughly 1,500 of them — were purchased by his parents to stop his stepfather from drinking.

“My stepdad had a drinking issue as perceived by my mother,” McMannis told VICE. “Every clown represents a bottle of beer that he would have bought.”

The couple, now in their 80s, are looking to sell the home so they can move in with McMannis and his wife.
