Concept cars at the Beijing Motor Show

You won't forget the look of this BMW i8 Spyder for a while. Arguably the stand-out concept of this year's Beijing Motor Show, the Spyder is a roofless, two-seat hybrid concept.

The i8 has a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 220bhp to power the rear wheels and a 129bhp electric motor to drive the fronts.

Lamborghini chose Beijing to unveil its second ever SUV, the Urus.

VW lifted the lid on its new electric roadster, the E-Bugster.

The E-Bugster's 114 horsepower powertrain has a range of 100 miles and can quick-charge to 80-percent capacity in just half an hour.
