When you’ve got a strict home-buying budget, you often want to get the biggest bang for your buck — the most house for the least money. Sure location and amenities are great, but sometimes you just need lots of space. Point2Homes conducted a study of how many square feet $300,000 will buy you, and found that if you’re looking for an average-sized home, around 2,000 square feet, you’re going to have to spend a lot more in Canada’s largest cities.
