Burt Reynolds' "Bandit" '78 Trans-Am Up for Sale
"Smokey and the Bandit" endures as one of the great popcorn flicks thanks in large part to the charisma of Burt Reynolds behind the wheel of a black Pontiac Trans Am. In real life, Reynolds kept the Bandit spirit alive by driving this 1978 Trans Am, complete with "BANDT22" license plates, embroidered headrests and CB radio, albeit about 30 years after "Bandit" came out.
