What a $1 million home looks like in Canada this week - Nov. 15 edition

For the third month in a row, home sales are up in Canada.

The CREA reports that while newly listed homes are slightly down, slightly more people are buying the ones that are on the market. Nationally, home prices averaged $505,937, but if you take out Toronto and Vancouver, that number drops down to $383,000.

If you’re willing to spend more than the average (or slightly less than the average if you’re looking in the Toronto or Vancouver areas), we’ve got some homes for you to check out. This week, we take a look at houses in Surrey, B.C., Toronto, Ont. and Calgary, Alta. Which would you choose?
