This week’s legalization of recreational marijuana in Canada will have an impact on the real estate industry, too: 52 per cent of home owners say they would be less likely to consider a property if they knew cannabis had been grown inside. Considering it is now legal for residents to grow up to four plants in their homes, that could end up cutting the interest in a lot of properties.

It will still be several months before we see any widespread impact of that, however, so in the meantime, here are three homes from across the country with a million-dollar price tag. This week, we look at homes in Toronto, Paradise, Nfld. and Surrey, B.C.
