With million-dollar home sales expected to rise beyond Toronto and Vancouver, it seems that you can find pricey homes just about everywhere in Canada now.

Sotheby’s Calgary says home sales over $1 million are up 45 per cent in January and February. Montreal appears to be heading in a similar direction. Everywhere you look, there are million-dollar homes on the market.

This week, we look at a home in Vancouver, as well as cottage destinations outside Toronto and Calgary. Where would you spend your $1 million budget?
