On Wednesday, the Liberal government rolled out a national housing strategy to help curb Canada-wide real estate affordability issues.

The strategy is focused on reducing homelessness and supporting low-income households. While it does support a vulnerable population of Canada, it doesn’t do much to cool the country’s hottest housing markets, beyond what the provinces have already enacted.

So for now, it looks like these are the kinds of homes you’ll see selling for $1 million in some of Canada’s largest cities. Here’s what a $1 million home looks like in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto this week.
