CBS announced in November that Bob Hearts Abishola — starring Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku - would end with its fifth season.

“Bob Hearts Abishola is about an unlikely love story, but also the premise that immigrants make America great,” executive producers Gina Yashere, Matt Ross and  Chuck Lorre shared in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter. “We’ve loved bringing these stories to life and are excited for fans to see the final chapter of these two families, and the incredible work of this talented cast and crew.”

As for Young Sheldon, the network also confirmed in November that it would conclude after seven seasons this spring.

Starring Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper, as well as familiar faces like Annie Potts and Zoe Perry, who plays Sheldon’s mom — and is the real-life daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who played Sheldon’s mom in The Big Bang Theory — the series quickly became a hit, thanks to its humor and heart. It pays homage to its parent series while also creating a captivating and hilarious story.

“Being able to tell the origin of Sheldon Cooper, and expanding the story to include the entire Cooper family has been a wonderful experience,” executive producers Steve Holland, Steven Molaro and Chuck Lorre said in a joint statement. “We are grateful to our fans for embracing this chapter of the Coopers these past six seasons, and on behalf of the entire Young Sheldon family, we’re excited to share this final season with you.”

The Shemar Moore-led police drama S.W.A.T. was renewed for a seventh and final season, just three days after originally canceling the series in May 2023.

"We have listened to our viewers and their outpouring of passion for S.W.A.T. and we have reached an agreement to renew it for a final season of 13 episodes to air during the 2023-2024 broadcast year," CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach and Sony Pictures TV Studios president Katherine Pope said in a joint statement at the time.
