You can carry this tiny scooter in your bag

This looks like a laptop on wheels, but it’s actually a new scooter called WalkCar, made by Cocoa Motors. And it’s the first ultra-compact personal transporter of its kind.

It’s the same size as a 13-inch laptop and light enough to carry in your bag, it sports a 6.2-pound fiber frame and can go up to 10mph, and the battery will get you a good hour of scooting. But the WalkCar is not cheap — expect to pay $1,280.

Preorders start Oct. 21, but don’t add it to your holiday list just yet: You’ll have to wait till September 2017 for it to ship.
