Happy Friday traders! It's time to sit back and relax - the weekend is here. What better way to kick it off than with Yahoo Finance's cocktail of the week.
Unless you've been hiding under a rock you've probably heard about Pope Francis' visit to Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia. And with security tighter than ever and traffic snarled - why not stay in this weekend and enjoy the unofficial cocktail of Pope Francis' home nation - Argentina.
We're calling this drink the "Holy Argentinian."
Want to try it out? Good news! It's super simple to make. Take a rocks glass full of ice and pour in one ounce of Fernet Branca bitters. It's Italian just like Pope Francis' parents!
Pour in a little coke and you have Argentina's unofficial drink of choice - the Fernet con Coca
BUT -- in honor of his holiness' trip to the U-S of A, we're adding a floater of Jack Daniels for good measure. Because what's more American than some good old Tennessee sour mash.
And there you have it - the Yahoo Finance "Holy Argentinian."
By the way-- Pope Francis has spoken out against excessive alcohol use but is said to enjoy a nice glass of red wine from time to time. Pope Emeritus, however, was know for his love of a good German beer.
