The World's Most Handsome Horse Is Coming to New York City

From Town & Country

Roll out the red carpet: Frederik the Great, a rare Friesian stallion who's been called the most beautiful horse in the world, is coming to New York.

With a flowing mane, nearly 50,000 Facebook fans, and a YouTube channel with more than 14 million views, the 15-year-old Frederik has become an internet sensation from his home in the the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas.

The award-winning dressage horse will take part in the Rolex Central Park Horse Show on Friday and Saturday nights, September 23 and 24. Born in the Netherlands, where the Friesian breed originated, Frederik will appear in a ten-part mini-series, "Frederik The Great: Behind the Beauty," which will be released in Spring 2017, as well as a documentary, "They have No Voices," to be released in Fall 2017.
